Rejoice in the Lord.

I actually woke up with this song on my mind this morning. It has been on my mind for a while. I do not think it is by accident that things happen. Last week while working with Gracie on her school work I sat David down and put patch the pirate on and we ran threw some of his songs. (Little by Little is his favorite right now) But I came across "Rejoice in the Lord" I remember singing this as a child in the children's choir. I remembered the words but believe the words mean more now as an adult. So we listened to it several times last week. Then on Friday night I went to the Ladies Conference at Gospel Light. It's an annual thing for the girls in our family. I went to open my booklet and the theme song was .....you guessed it right. Rejoice in the Lord. I just whispered to myself. Thank you Lord. I think he put that there just for me.

Here are the words to the song if you don't know it.

God never moves without purpose or plan - (Isn't this amazing, it's his plan not ours and he knows exactly what he is doing when we have not clue.)

When trying His servant and molding a man. - (He always seems to be molding us)

Give thanks to the Lord though your testing seems long; ( We should truly remember this, bc at the time it is not the easiest thing to do.

In darkness He giveth a song.

I could not see through the shadows ahead,

So I looked at the cross of my Savior instead. (oh if we would keep our eyes on Jesus)

I bowed to the will of the Master that day; - (Things will go much smoother and the peace like no other peace.)

Then peace came and tears fled away.

Now I can see testing comes from above;

God strengthens His children and purges in love.

My Father knows best, and I trust in His care;

Through purging, more fruit I will bear.

O rejoice in the Lord, He makes no mistake.

He knoweth the end of each path that I take.

For when I am tried and purified,

I shall come forth as gold. - Only if we could see down the road we may be more apt to trust him but then that is not truly putting our faith and trust in him.....Oh let us TRUST HIM so we can come forth as gold for our Savior
